More than 117,000 men, women, and children are on the national waiting list for a life-saving organ transplant.

✦ About 22 people die each day while waiting for a vital organ transplant.

More than 30,000 transplants performed annually for the first time in the United States.

In 2015, a total of 37,910 organs were donated.
